ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE UWC FACULTY OF EDUCATION BURSARY

To qualify for this bursary, applicants must:

  • Be a South African citizen or possess permanent residency in South Africa.
  • Commence their first year of MEd studies in 2024.
  • Enrol on either a full-time or part-time basis.
  • Demonstrate robust academic prowess.
  • Avoid any employment within the UWC Work Study Programme.
  • Provide evidence of financial need, with a household income not exceeding R350,000 annually.
  • Confirm non-receipt of funding from alternative sources.
