These links open the Department of Basic Education (DBE) Annual Teaching Plan (ATP) files for the Senior Phase, Grades 7, 8 and 9.
For 2026, the DBE lists new ATPs for some subjects. On the DBE Senior Phase ATP page these are Mathematics (2026) for Grades 8 and 9, and Natural Sciences (2026) for Grades 7, 8 and 9. The rows marked (2026) below link to those files. The other files are the 2023/2024 ATPs, which still apply for 2026 under DBE Circular S19 of 2025.
For Term 4 topics and 2026 week dates, open your grade: Grade 7 ATPs, Grade 8 ATPs or Grade 9 ATPs. New to ATPs? Read how to use the DBE ATPs.
CAPS 123 is not the Department of Basic Education. Always check a file against the official DBE ATP page and your school or district before you plan.
