Cambridge has developed a new workshop, “Coding and Robotics for Foundation Phase Teachers,” in response to the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Endorsed by the South African Council for Educators and providing comprehensive curriculum coverage, the workshop offers both theoretical knowledge and hands-on practical activities. It focuses on understanding e-communication and online safety, effective assessment methods in the classroom, and includes a particular focus on low-resource schools. The workshop aims to equip educators with the tools and knowledge needed to teach coding and robotics effectively, thereby developing students’ 21st-century skills.
