Grade 1 lesson plans: Term 4 Week 4 (26 to 30 Oct 2026)

For Grade 1 teachers planning the week of Monday 26 to Friday 30 October 2026 (Term 4 Week 4).

This week we will be finishing the Weeks 3 and 4 Maths block (number 17, bonds to 8, ordinal numbers, money, data and 2D shapes), starting the Life Skills topic Homes, and continuing the English FAL theme We grow and change with seasons and clothes words and the -x sound.

Remember to complete the Maths SBA task for Weeks 3 and 4, bring pictures of different types of homes for Life Skills, and have real clothes such as a jacket and a jersey ready for the English FAL vocabulary. Check workbook page numbers against the edition your class uses.
